I’m Bravin Yuri—a Kenyan mental health advocate, political scientist, activist, Social media influencer, sociologist, and digital strategist committed to shaping conversations that matter.

I help organizations, brands, and communities navigate the intersection of mental wellness, youth empowerment, and digital influence through consulting, content, and social innovation.

As the founder of Mental Health and Wellness Kenya, I lead a movement dedicated to dismantling stigma, creating safe spaces for healing, and promoting emotional well-being through education and storytelling.

One of my most impactful initiatives, My Story Stori Yangu, invites people to share their lived mental health experiences—fostering a national culture of empathy, openness, and strength through vulnerability.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Nairobi, where I also served as the captain of the university’s swimming team, the UoN Sharks.

My academic background gives me a unique lens through which I analyze social behavior, political psychology, and the mental health challenges facing Kenyan youth today.
Beyond mental health, I am passionate about digital responsibility.

In an era where disinformation, smear campaigns, and performative activism flood our timelines, I’ve taken a clear stand—advocating for truthful storytelling, ethical influence, and conscious content creation. Through my platforms, I challenge the misuse of social media while training others to build digital identities grounded in authenticity and impact.
