SONKO RESCUE TEAM ARRESTED

21 Sonko Rescue Team(SRT) Workers Were arrested Yesterday by Police Officers  who Were on Patrol during the 7pm-5am curfew.

The Workers were heading home after a fumigation exercise in several estates in Nairobi.

The Team is Currently held at Muthaiga Police Station.

Police Further Suspended SRT Food Distribution Program to the Needy, citing fear of public gathering which has so far been banned by the government.
