Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has once again come to the rescue of 10 Kenyans stranded in China.
The ten including a one and half-year-old child had contacted Sonko requesting him to pay for their flight tickets back home.
According to Governor Sonko Spokesman Ben Mulwa the Governor had received a distress call via both email and telephone from the ten Kenyans.
Sonko decided to pay for their ticket back home and arranged for their quarantine facility for the next 14 days.
In a statement, Sonko announced that the ten were among 160 who returned to the country and landed at 2:30 am at JKIA.
Through his social media platform, Sonko appealed to politicians to set aside their political differences during this pandemic time and support each other to overcome it.
