CORONAVIRUS: JKUAT Closes Down Indefinitely
The Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology’s (JKUAT) senate resolved to closed down the University indefinitely after a special meeting held on the 16th March,2020 following the directive by the president to suspend Learning in all Learning Institutions.
“All students are expected to have cleared from the University by Wednesday, 18th March, 10.00 a.m. Consequently members of staff except those on essential services are expected to report on duty up to and including Wednesday, 18th March, 2020 5.00 p.m.” Read part of the statement from the University’s Twitter account
Following the President's directive on suspension of learning in all education institutions in Kenya due to the outbreak of Covid-19 Virus, the University Senate, in a special meeting held on 16th March, 2020 resolved that the University be closed until further notice.
